Ellie Riley Ward is a multimedia artist working primarily in three dimensions. She loves to incorporate molecular elements into her work, and she frequently explores how biology informs human identity through art. Ellie completed a dual degree in Fine Arts and Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Michigan in 2021, and started her first year of law school at Emory University in the fall of 2024. She plans to specialize in Intellectual Property/Patent Law, continuing to use her art and biology background. Ellie graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy in 2016. Currently, Ellie is working on a series of oil paintings that reflect her relationship with the feeling of thuis, the feeling of being at home within oneself (translated from Dutch).
In her free time, Ellie loves to ski, bike, windsurf, and do anything outdoors. She is in the process of training for her first marathon., and is attempting to read every Hugo Award winning sci-fi novels. She does not like writing about herself in the third person.
